Both thermal and thermal transfer (TTR) labels are self-adhesive labels on a roll typically intended for additional black print in thermal (direct thermal) or TTR printers.
The direct thermal or TTR custom (pre-printed) labels can be additionally over printed with variable text for simply a flexibly identifying various types of a specific product. These labels are mostly used in the food industry.
